What is Setagaya Daikan Yashiki?
This historic “daikan” (magistrate) residence was built in the mid-18th century.
With its traditional thatched roof, tatami rooms, and beautiful wooden architecture, it’s a peaceful step back in time. You can walk through the residence freely and imagine what life was like for local samurai and officials.
